Malta Innovation Hub – Malta Enterprise is involved in an InterReg Project ENISIE intended to contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of the cross-border area moving from the field-based new generation social enterprise environment (innovative start-ups with a social vocation).
The scope and deliverables of the Project are to motivate enterprises to innovate using multi-disciplinary external experts as well as to include social objectives in their efforts.
The support is intended for innovative start-ups, micro-enterprises and SMEs in the eligible areas.
Malta Innovation Hub is accepting submissions from enterprises and its experts to run Co-Innovation Workshops.
The intention of the workshops are to help Enterprises:
- Introduce a culture of innovation within enterprises through the running of Co-Innovation Workshops, where the first workshop will be funded by up to €5,000.
- Support enterprises to implement the recommendations from their workshops, where the supervision of the implementation will be funded by up to €8,400.
- Instil the importance of OPEN INNOVATION utilising multi-professional external experts including social impact.
- Establish a long-term eco-system of readily available innovation experts.
- Document the outcomes of the workshops as case-studies to be used to motivate other enterprises.
This support process includes: inviting applications on the submission forms in line with the guidelines; ensuring conformance to State Aid Rules, evaluation and choosing submissions, award, supervision, verification of deliverables and grant disbursement.
