BOOT DUSSELDORF 2024 is the 55th International Boat Show attracting almost 237,000 visitors from over 60 countries and more than 1,500 exhibitors from 68 nations. It is the world’s largest yacht and watersports show set on 220,000 square metres in 16 exhibition halls. The event is to be held between 20th-28th January 2024.

This event attracts sailors and motor boaters whether looking for a luxury yacht, motor boat, sailing boat or dinghy. Various water sports are exhibited from diving, surfing, skimboarding, kite and wind surfing, waterskiing, wakeboaring, jetskiing, diving, stand up paddling or canoeing with the corresponding equipment on display and also to be tried. Various shows are held throughout the day as there are various pools and aquariums set up showcasing the different sports activities. Enthusiasts can meet with different professionals as well as attend the different workshops organized or join in the join-in activities. Instructors inform visitors on how to get started in the underwater sport and advise them on the purchase of matching equipment. Subsequently, orders can be placed directly with manufacturers and dealers at the show.

Also, in focus at boot 2024 will be ocean protection and innovative, sustainable technologies.

In the case of Maltese undertakings that register to attend the event, they can benefit from the EEN Support4Growth support measure-  that is a cash grant that covers up to 50% of participation to the event. Eligible costs include air travel for one representative participating in the event and participation registration. A per diem is given to the participant for the days participating in the event – since this is one of the company missions listed on the Enterprise Europe Network calendar of events.
